Commercial standards
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
How FinanceFirst protects the boundary between reader-first financial education and commercial relationships.
Editorial separation
Advertisers, affiliate partners, and commercial prospects do not approve our editorial conclusions or receive authority to change independent coverage.
Advertising formats
FinanceFirst may display clearly identifiable display advertising and other commercial placements. Advertising is visually separated from editorial content.
Affiliate relationships
Some links may generate compensation when a reader takes an action. When applicable, that relationship is disclosed near the relevant content. Compensation does not guarantee inclusion or a favorable conclusion.
Lead generation
If a form sends information to a third-party provider, the destination and commercial purpose must be disclosed before submission. FinanceFirst does not present a lead form as independent advice.
Sponsored content
Paid or sponsored material must be labeled prominently. It is not presented as ordinary editorial coverage and does not receive expert-review labels unless that review actually occurred.
Prohibited influence
Commercial partners may not dictate rankings, suppress material limitations, fabricate reviews, or require misleading claims. FinanceFirst may decline advertising that conflicts with reader safety or editorial standards.
Commercial inquiries
Potential partners can describe the proposed format, audience, and disclosure requirements through our contact route. Editorial corrections should be submitted separately.
